Leaving Windows For Linux

So I'm slowly moving off of windows. My chosen Linux distro is PopOS. For the most part its going fairly smooth. I'm moving mostly because I haven't like the way windows has been going for some time. Everyday it seems there is some concern over privacy, or more junk being added to it, and etc. I still plan to use it, as I need to use it for a few programs.

One of the Annoying things I encountered in my move was an bug where my screen kept shutting off after about 30 seconds. Fortunately I found this post from 5 years ago on reddit that solved the issue. You just run

xset -dpms

Sometimes its amazing how the same bugs can come up multiple times after being fixed.
